Mr. Berger is the president of A Action Investigations & Security, and Eric A. Berger & Associates located in Hollywood, Florida. Mr. Berger graduated from Florida State University and received a Degree in Criminal Justice. Mr. Berger also received a Paralegal Degree from Barry University in 1984.

Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Berger worked for Dade State Attorneys Office in the Felony Division under Assistant State Attorney, Maria Lorts, and under the past Miami U.S. Attorney Honorable Thomas Scott.

AAction has been conducting investigations since 1985 and for the past 17 years has specialized in Intellectual Brand Protection cases. We were instrumental in assisting the passing of the first felony Statutes for Law Enforcement and the State Attorney’s office to prosecute offenders under 831.03 and 831.05 in 1996. From there the Florida Statutes have been revised to make it a more serious crime for the irreparable harm caused in health and safety issues. Aaction are current members of the IACC and INTA group discussions and were sitting on the Board of Directors for over 12 years. Our agency currently has worked for over 250 brand companies throughout the years and have had a great success in good solid case results.

Mr. Berger has been an admitted expert in both Federal and State courts for his experience and knowledge in authentic and counterfeit goods involving criminal cases. These cases were investigated by Federal and State Agents in the State of Florida.

Eric is a past IACC Board of Directors for WMS gaming products. He was the IACC treasurer for several years successfully returning the IACC to major financial status and its accomplishments today. Eric is the past IACC Chair for the Investigative task force who’s group is recognized for their specialty in Brand Protection skills.

One of his many accomplishments is that he has succeeded in adopting new Federal and State laws protecting trademarks and copyrights under the multi –state project.
